Hi All,

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the lock on the glove box at all? I see there are no screws on the door so if it has to be done, it looks like I might have to pry it open?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know specifically, I never attempted to pull ours apart; however, here is some general advice:

Keep in mind that Toyota got the lock in there in the first place.

I doubt it will be glued together, so your best option would be to take to the old one with a plastic trim removal tool to avoid damaging the good one. Use it as a test mule.

Start from the lower side if possible to avoid visible damage, if any.

Yeah ok, I thought as much. Will give it a go, maybe with a flathead screwdriver wrapped in cloth. I think I have some trim removal tools around somewhere too.
