Does anyone have a problem with the Particle filter burn in their HiLux? Our 2015/16 Hilux seems to burn every 400 - 500 kms and if we aren't on the highway driving 100 kms ph so that it can do it's burn then when we pull up ( at home or out shopping) then it will continue to rev really high.

One Toyota dealer said leave car running til it stops the burn, another said not to. Another said to try and take it for a twenty minute drive at 100mph, not an easy or convenient option! Appears they are not really sure although the last service man we spoke to explained it all a lot better than the previous ones though.

Toyota has already replaced the fifth injector.
