Hi all

Apologies if this topic has been covered before. Feel free to direct me to another thread if it has.

I have a base model 2005 3.4L Hilux dual cab 4x4 (last of the 167's). It is an unsophisticated beast, but I love it! There is only one thing I wish it had for the sake of safety - that is ABS.

Since most of the other models had ABS, how simple would it be to retrofit an ABS system if I had a donor car? What hardware will I need from the donor car?

I anticipate that some of the responses will be, "it is easier and cheaper to just buy a model with ABS". My answer to that would be that I really don't want to sell mine. It is in perfect condition with low mileage and I love it too much to sell it.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
