i have a RN85 hilux with a 22r engine only done 186,000k's, it's real laggy/weak to crank on startup. I have done the timing 5 deg BTD and engine runs fine once started, just seems to labour to start. Is there any known starting issues with these? Eg. bad earth cables ect that i should check or maybe just the battery? Thanks in advance

Possibly the battery, that is where I would start. Might be time to have it tested.

Good idea to also check that the battery terminals are tightly fastened to the battery posts. Clean away away corrosion to ensure that there is a good connection and also wipe down the top of the battery.
