Hi guys wondering if anyone could tell me why my lift won't work /won't revo past 7000rpm just rev bounces I had the lift bolts replaced 4 months ago to stronger point lift bolts but today driving just didn't engage in lift and rev cut off at 7000rpm also I might mention when I turned the car off for 10minutes then drive again lift did work but only once then went back to not revving past 7000rpm any help would be great

If you've already replaced the lift bolts, it's safe to say you should check the following. Have you also performed any servicing, mods or other changes recently? Has lift engaged without problems before?

- Lift solenoid - May need to be cleaned.

- OCV filters as they can get clogged over time -

- Check any wiring - If there are any loose or broken wires.

- Possibly try an ECU reset.

Hey squalled I must admit it hasn't seen a oil change for some time it's over by 2000kms so the video is everything I should check correct the lift engaged normaly before only a few days ago it's happen but when it did I turned the car off for 20minutes then drove again and it engaged but now nothing just revs to 7k and stops

Definitely try some of those steps and give it a nice service. There's actually quite a few things I've seen over the years causing cars to not engage lift correctly.

As campbeam has shown, you can also remove the battery terminals to reset the ECU.

      Auto door locking on new 2024 C-HR?

      Hi I was very lucky to receive one of the first new models last month. My Koba is amazing- as have all of my previous Toyotas. However in answer to your question it does not automatically lock the doors when you engage Drive or when you reach a preset speed. I am very disappointed that with all of the electronic devices and safety features and the approximately 20% increase in price over the last model that Toyota Australia has left a very important safety feature out of the vehicle. We see cars being carjacked almost nightly on the news. My knowledge of technology in this sector is limited but surely it is only an update of the operating systems to fix this. The new model is a beautiful car- your wife should still buy one.

      is it possible to import US model Sienna to Australia?

      I rent a 2023 model in US just few days ago it’s beauty and real good on fuel much nicer to drive compare to Honda Odyssey which I own one 2022 model make me wonder why Toyota AUS won’t bring the Sienna hybrid to Australia instead we get bulky ugly looking Granvia with diesel engine 🤔🤔!!

      How to delete bluetooth device?

      I have a Yaris and had a similar issue. I just submitted a similar query to GPT. The response was to go into settings, view paired devices, select the device to remove, and confirm the removal. It helped me; I couldn't find the answer on the internet, but I found it there.

      @campbeam much appreciated, very interesting, it’s got me buggered as on the Toyota Estima groups everyone is quoting 1.6 litres cold for a drain and drop, now, these run the exact same drivetrain as the Aurion 2GR-FE and U660E combo, so in theory all figures should line up, I’m hedging my bets on your maths and techniques though, you seem well versed…. thanks again

      My wife is looking at purchasing a new 2024 C-HR Hybrid. Does anyone with one of these know whether the doors lock automatically when driving off? Her 2018 C-HR doesn't do this which is annoying as my 11 year old Kia Sportage does.
