Morning all,

Got a faint squeak from the back of my car at low speeds and just wondering what you may think it could be.

I have had rotors and pads checked already and have been told they are OK - apparently.

The squeak occurs usually between the rolling and 10-20kph range going forward and is a faint intermittent squeak as the wheel goes around.

It does not seem to increase/decrease in volume or intensity when turning and is inaudible when accelerating hard.

The sound does not get any better or worse / louder or quieter when foot brakes are or are not applied.

Tends to go away for a while after the car has been through a wash.

Does not change at all in accordance with the road surface (bumps or no bumps)

Is not apparent when car is travelling above 20kph

Goes away if the wheels have been taken off and then reinstalled for a service

3 mechanics have not been able to find out what it is - including the Toyota, Kmart and other one that I went to.

Thank you in advance

In my case it was front hub bearing.

A couple of mechanics were unable to find the problem.
