Jay123 0 Report post Posted January 22 (edited) G'day guys, I was messing around with my exhaust system and managed to snap one of the bolts holding the cat-back onto the headers. (The broken half of the bolt is now stuck inside the headers) As a result there is exhaust gas leaking from in between and is making a nasty sound due to it only being screwed in on one side. any tips on fixing this / expected difficulty is doing so? Can supply pictures if necessary. Cheers! Edited January 22 by Jay123
Thepope 0 Report post Posted February 7 I think your only option here is to fully remove the cat-back section. Then hope you have enough of the bolt left to use a stud remover or such like. However you will also need lots of WD or similar (overnight with several soakings) and probably some heat on the header when you try to remove.
