2019 Camry SL Hybrid car audio options?

Hello all, I would like to ask the community what if any options there are to upgrade the audio system in the current model Camry? If I were to upgrade anything (eg: speakers, amplifier etc), I'd do it as a 'stealth' install (eg: speakers which fit the factory openings).

Does anyone know if the factory head/Infotainment unit be upgraded with a flagship Double din SatNav unit from Kenwood or Alpine? My car audio advisor said he personally is not aware of any high quality aftermarket faceplate kits for a doube dine hu as the model is still new. Apropos that, he said he was unsure if the car's factory head unit was compatible with a 4-channel Alpine amplifier? So i'm not sure what upgrade options there are.

Also, can anyone recommend a car audio installer in Melbourne who does good work on Toyota's? Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers!

I've done my own research & got some f'back from a Melbourne car audio installer that yes, there is some potential to upgrade the audio system in this model. Bad news/good news. The bad news is the factory infotainment unit can't be ugpraded. The good news is that firstly, Toyota advise me they're adding Apple CarPlay around November via a firmware update for existing vehicles, and standard on new vehicles sold thereafter.

Secondly, my car audio installer advised I can use my current Focal Utopia 165W-RC passive front splits & Alpine MRVF-545 amp. He also said I can use some good 6.5" coaxial speakers in the rear, sound deadening in the doors, and in lieu of an aftermarket head unit - use an Audison Bit Ten digital processor (see pic below). It has a very impressive suite of features & is a God send really.

I'm still mulling over rear speaker options, cable kit & choice of sound deadening material though. So if you have any suggestions, fire away!

      KUN26 SR5 help mounting sport bar and 3 piece lid

      g'day, New here. Im looking for advice for KUN26 SR5. Replacing a canopy with a factory 3 piece hard and lid sports bar. Couple of issues im having is: It appears originally the tub liner would be trimmed? and a black bar (approx 50x50) is mounted to the front of the tub, where the hinges for the lid are riveted too. Rather than trim the liner, ive used an aluminium fencing rail which attached to the tub the overlal dimensions are the same and i have the lid sitting in place. All good there. However, i now have 2 issues. The sports bar mounting point at the front of the tub, is 2x20mm holes wihtout a thread. The mounting holes a little further back have an m8 thread. I reckon theres a plate with nutserts or something im missing between the sports bar and tub. What can i do here? The second, is the hard lid corner pieces dont cover the front edge of the tub and appear to need trimming. Is this normal?

      Just curious if anyone else is having issues with the car alarm going off randomly after mins to hours when locking with the key fob? Could this be an issue with the immobiliser?

      1-Piece Brake Rotor?

      Hi again, Joel. Apart from being told that you should replace the rotors, what is wrong with them? do you have brake shudder, or are the rotors too thin, i.e. beyond their wear limit? If there are no symptoms of rotor problems I would clean the old ones and reuse them. Maybe new brake pads. As the hubs have come off you have disturbed the bearings, so clean them thoroughly, pack them with a bearing grease and reinstall them. Herb

      Standard suspension

      Prob a dumb question but can you raise the height of standard GXL 2023 suspension just temp and only slightly to stop front tyre rub on inside of arb summit guard until I can get a proper lift in a few weeks thanks Jamie

      1-Piece Brake Rotor?

      Hi, I purchased a lovely Hiace Commuter recently and was advised to replace the Rotors. So I Bought some rotors from supercheap, and removed the old ones from the vehicle. I'm a little startled though, as the old ones seem to be one-piece. Am I dealing with a rotor that has a built-in rotor hat or hub assembly? I've attached 2x images, the old with the yellow highliting that it seems to be one piece and the new on the plastic. There is no seam on the old. I've looked at the workshop manual, and tons of videos but the one-piece doesn't seem to be standard. Model: TOYOTA HIACE RZH125R 2.4L 2RZ-E SOHC 8v MPFI 4cyl Bus 5sp Man RWD [01/98 - 12/04]

      Toyota prado 2018 Rattling noise?

      What do you use

      Hope the road trip ahead is wonderful my friend, enjoy the open road and scenery around you in your travels. I am glad your trying the Armor all Ultra Ceramic Glass product I love it so easy to use and the end results are great and will reaaply mine this weekend after "Faye" gets her wash and dry. I am trying out the TW Graphene Tyre shine right now and am keen to apply it this weekend as all the videos I have seen look great.       Workshop manual

      I have recently purchased a 2023 Fortuner and I’m looking for a workshop manual. I have looked in the usual places on the net but can only find much earlier model manuals or the very expensive Toyota subscription. I will be spending a lot of time in the back blocks so need a manual just in case. Can anyone suggest a solution.
