Headlights went out switching to main beam

So last night it appears that when I flashed my headlights the dipped lights went out. It's only intermittently doing it at this stage.

I did a quick google and suspect it's likely to be the headlight switch/stalk. How easy is this to replace? Is it worth getting it done at Dealership?

I've replaced one previously on an older car and was quite simple Just not sure on this one.

In the meantime I managed to take sandpaper to the contacts on the switch hoping it's a quick fix.

2006 Yaris is the car, don't suppose there was a recall for this 😃

Thanks in advance
