Hey, im new to this forum, and was interested in buying a celica, a 1991 TOYOTA CELICA ST184R SX 2.2L, it has 235000 K'S on the clock, and was just wondering how toyota celica engines are with higher K'S on them?? And what i should watch out for?

Regards Mark.

if they have seen all of there major services fine, if they haven't well one thing after another will break till you say screw it and rebuild/recon or do an engine conversion to it, also see www.ozcelica.com

hey dude i was in the same boat as you......it was either buy a 1990 gt4 or 1990 sx......the gt4 was twice the price but lucky for me i picked up a SX 1990 2.2L Twin Cam in excellent cond from the auctions....good price as well....stock it's pretty much a 133 HP....it's given me no troubles....but since then i've put on a few mods....with a GT4 bonnet
