New Multimedia Head Unit - No Sound

Hello Mates, not sure if this is the right area for this kinda of question, i am new here. 

I have a corolla wagon 2002, zze122R. My old head unit, a basic philips cd player, was with a weird issue. It turns on, however no sound out, but, if I flashed my headlights, or turn on and off the headlights or give a slap on my dash, the sounds started to come out, really crazy. 

I recently bought a new multimedia head unit, not branded. It turns on, but I have no sound at all, not even after the traditional tricks. I tested the old head unit and the sound is ok in this one (after one of the tricks). And when I turn the ignition off I hear a statics noise after the head unit goes off. 

Anyone have an idea of what it could be?

      AURION or CAMRY V6 ???

      Hi Steve, No not tried any of the latest Camry's all I know is if he loves the Aurion which I can see no reason why not they are brilliant cars maybe he should look for a higher level than the ATX, for power and handing the Sportivos rock, or if he wants class then Prodigy or Presara that way he gets the best of both worlds. There are quite a few around on the market but these days they do go for quite a bit with new car delays kicking up the prices of second hand. at dealers. I love our 2009 Presara as it is always a total pleasure to sit in drive and just enjoy that power every now and then for fun.

      AURION or CAMRY V6 ???

      Hey guys. Got a friend who loves his Camry's & is looking to update his current car, a 2009 Camry. I let him take a spin of my car (2016 ATX) & I couldnt get the smile of his face ! He loved the power LOL but thought the interior was a bit plain & boring (fair enough it is a bit). He was initially looking at the XV70 Series Camry as he likes the look of them & the interior is a bit flashier too, but now he doesnt know after driving the Aurion. Anyway, he ended up taking a 2019 V6 Camry with the 224kw 2GR-FKS for a test drive too, at a Toyota dealer. Strange thing, he reckons the Aurion goes ALOT harder than the XV70 Camry V6, even though it has a more powerful engine. He said he almost couldn't feel any power compared to my car ?? But overall he reckons it is a nicer car to drive. But I think he may have got a bit addicted to the power, as he wanted to take my car for another drive LOL I suggested looking at a higher spec Aurion than mine if he wants the power but something "less boring", so I will how he goes. Just wondering if any you guys here driven the 70 Series V6 Camry too & can compare to the Aurion. Why would it feel slower ? Any recommendations ? Thanks in advance...........

      Head unit sd card issue

      G'day NZKicks, I'm just trying to get my unit in a Toyota Corolla going, the card was lost. Just bought 32Gig SanDisk and transferred the files straight onto the Card as it was formatted already to FAT32. Didn't work. I then ran through your instructions and created a 4Gig partition and formatted that only for Fat32.. Loaded the four files straight onto the 4Gig partition and still no luck. Files are: EB.DAT MM.DAT RG.DAT SS.DAT I've now deleted/cancelled the 4Gig partition and loaded the files straight onto the 28Gig section.. No luck also. Damn, this sounded too easy.. Tech stuff (I studied 3D animation) can get very specific and one thing wrong is a no-win. Is there anything I'm missing here that you can see? Thanks in advance

      2017 Kluger AWD. Noise in Cabin - Bearing/Diff. Not Sure.

      Well conclusion to this was....... Toyota covered it out of warranty and the noise is gone. Back to its normal self. We did also buy a Holden Acadia to replace our secondary car (VE Commodore) as having the Kluger go down was not good for our family. So we needed a second 7 seater. We'll be keeping the Kluger .... depsite this failure it's still a great car and props to Toyota for covering it.
