Have you tried contacting the dealer spares dept ?

I find them to be quite helpful, especially with part numbers.

If it's hard to explain over the phone, I'd drive over to Toyota and show them.

Imran, are you in Melbourne? I'm based in the NE suburbs and have a fistful of those retainer clips in my shed, PM me if you want 7 of them, it'll cost you the trip only.

There you go. That's a very kind gesture Adrian. 👍👍👍

Thanks Tony, but I've got so many I need to get rid of them to make room for the stacks of toilet paper and tissues, everyone is hoarding everything these days and storage space is shrinking 😀

For these retainer clips the part code is 90467-07211

Hahahaha yeah ! The world has gone mad. I kept saying this to my collegues years ago. My prediction has finally come to be..

It's absolutely disgraceful behaivour what we're seeing in the shops. There's plenty for everyone. There's zero chance we should go back to paper bark lol...

I purchased 3 different kits from ebay that pretty much cover all bases for not much money actually.

There's nothing worse than having none when you need some and the dealership are quite expensive just for one single piece.
