2005 Toyota Hiace secondary air pump

Have you had a look in your owner's manual ? I'd tend to think that it should have some kind of reference to it there.

Google search yields almost nothing either, but I suspect that such a pump would be in a similar position for other diesels, in which stated "The pump lies after the exhaust manifold and before the catalytic converter"

Take a look under there, I'm sure you'll find it.

Good luck and if you do find it perhaps post up some pics so others can benefit from this post
