Help. No throttle response when in gear

Just bought my first 100 series on friday and Ive got issue already starting yesterday. It's a 2001 GXV with diesel injection. After I put new wheel and tyres on yesterday I drove it 5km to the shops, then went to drive home and was stuck. I had no drive when R or D is seleceted and I have a check engine light on.

codes it is throwing is attached. Ther weird thing is if I rev it in P or N, its fine, as soon as gear is selected, its ****s itself. Im wondering if it could be a torque converter?

Im trying to track down a workshop manual so I can check the TPS and APPS, but no luck at the moment.

I could use some wisdom right now as the missus is pretty cranky at me right now and im pretty sure my purchasing rights are about to be revoked for the next decade!

I'm sorry to hear this mate. Did you buy private or yard ?

I have heard the 100 series suffered from transmission issues, both converter and transmission itself. It's difficult to say what it could be, even with those codes. 

Get a few opinions before you hand over any cash. If you have any warranty, get onto them immediately. 

Check to see if there was a Toyota technical service bulletin for these transmissions too.
