1999 Landcruiser 100 series automatic gear 'slip'

Our car above, the Snowy variant, sometimes 'slips' when it changes gear when the car is hot. The oil is clean, no metal shavings and there it's full.

I just took it for a drive and gave it a workout and everything was fine until the very end when it suddenly slipped briefly between changes.

We wanted to take it on holidays next week (3000 km roundtrip) but now I am really reluctant to do so.

Has anyone experienced such problems with this model before and what do you reckon - should we leave it at home or am I overreacting?

Thanks for your advice!
