Hi, someone has side swiped my wing mirror and as well as the glass being smashed, the unit has detached from the metal plate that it sits on. The wing mirror is now flopping down with only the electric cord preventing the unit from falling off altogether. Can I clip the unit back on so that it’s not hanging by the electrics?

Next step - any recommendations as to where to purchase and insert a new mirror?

Have attached a pic for clarity.

Many thanks

Priscilla

Ebay. Had a quick look, just the glass is $15, and a new aftermarket mirror is $135.

If u can find a way to force it to clip back on, or even glue it to hold, just buy the glass & u shouldn't be much out of pocket

Thanks Metal_Head - ended up getting a secondhand one which arrived today and managed to put it on myself. Easier than what I thought.
