To use Aurion engine

Hi guys.

2GR-FE in my Lexus RX350 is toasted.

As i understand same year Aurion uses the same block example i know oil filter are in different places on those two.

Can someone tell is it possible to use Aurion engine on it?

I'd strip the 2GR-FE engine down to it's long block and transfer everything else over from the 2GR-FSE, ie, throttle bodies, intake manifold, engine mounts etc. You're mechanic should know what to do. I also believe the 2GR-FSE had a bit more HP than the 2GR-FE, but the 2GR-FE should go straight in.

I was going to ask precisely why do you think that the engine needs to be replaced. What is the build date and the odometer reading?

After looking at this video, I was thinking that the oil filter cartridge housing is in a similar position.
