2012. 200 series landcruiser going into limp mode

My scenario is whilst towing a caravan around 3T at 100ks per hour for roughly 1.5 to 2 hrs if I slow down to go through a roundabout or like more often than not when I begin to accelerate out the other side the engine drops into limp mode. The code is P0046 relating to turbocharger supercharger boost control solenoid A . I have had the vehicle to Toyota three times and various deisel specialists with no success at rectifying the problem. It is an intermittent problem and they are unable to reproduce the limp mode trigger. The vehicle runs beautifully when not towing although it has happened twice without load but once the mode has been triggered ( I should mention I have a scanner to reset the code and this gets us back on the road ) it happens at random but often times. The latest deisel specialist determined that the left turbo was faulty so this was replaced but the problem still exists so I am wondering perhaps the issue might be a mechanical or fuel issue was wondering if anyone has an idea what might be the cause cheers

Did you finally work out the issue as mine does exactly what your car does? Mines a 2009 and  I have a Steinbauer  CPU unit fitted to my car and Toyota blamed the unit. I’m getting exactly the same code under similar conditions but never happened whilst not towing, only difference is I had a MAF sensor fault as well and changed that out and that fixed that code but now my mechanic is about to change the boost control valve to hopefully fix it.

Interested to know the end result here? I have a 2009 Landcruiser and initially went into limp mode towing van, throwing code P0048. Could clear and keep driving but eventually got worse. Checked with a diesel performance centre and they said turbo had holes in it so replaced that. Next day loss of power with code POO69. Had checked over by another diesel performance business and they couldn’t find anything. Replaced MAP sensor, filter, fuel filter, checked lines aren’t linked and still stuck with no power. Any suggestions?
