Hey all,

We plan on travelling around different parts of Oz soon and want to take a fridge.  I'm not an off road 4x4er' by any stretch but figure the AWD aspect will allow a little dirt and want to be comfortable so the fridge will come in handy.

Talking to the different fridge manufacturers, seems I need the rear socket to be able to carry 100 watts.  I believe that means a new inverter at least, which is only 3 months old like the car.  I also intend to install (hard wired) 2 channel dash cam so there's a bit electrical work to be done to a very electric type vehicle.

I'm Brisbane area so there's no shortage of auto electricians but if anyone has a advice it'd be appreciated as I'm still a little nervous about doing this to my new Cruiser Hybrid.  Also, if anyone has had any issues with modifying a hybrid RAV4.
