Hi guys. I've just got a 74 Celica with a 2T GUE motor fitted for my son. Supposedly just needed a head gasket

When I've got the lid off, the cam chain has been hitting the rocker cover!!! You've probably had this question heaps of time, but is there any online info about timing marks etc, as I am unable to locate a workshop manual for this engine. It's been put in the car by the previous owner, so I guess not standard. It has twin Slox/Mikuni carbs./ DOHC with a duplex chain. I didn't post this in the Celica section as I assume the motors came out in other models. Thanks in davance, Paul. (Brisbane.)

Hi mate, perhaps I'm a bit  but is "rollamods" a business? I can't find such a nic on this board & searches bring up a web site, but the email is invalid. His nik is on the Club4ag forum. I've managed to locate both chains & the bottom 3 sprockets. No gears for the cams in the country, so I'll have to go with what I've got. Sorry to be a pain :) , Cheers, Paul.
