2006 Tarago Front Strut Rebuild

Hi Everyone, wondering if anyone in has experience putting ACR50R front struts and springs back together. I took them out of my mother's van to replace the dust boots as they had turned to rice paper. I didn't pay too much attention with disassembly. I expected all parts to be marked or things to just fit into place. Well, they do for the most part, but I think they need very specific care to make sure everything is lined up correctly. I now know I should have marked everything myself, but still not sure if this would have even been precise enough. I've searched the web for rebuild instructions with no luck. Does anyone have access to this information or any tips to make reassembly a simple, straight forward experience.

I searched but could not locate the YouTube video that I referred to when I did my strut replacements. Information that you are seeking relates to the strut mount positioning marks. Strut mounts for my Toyota Aurion had a triangular mark. Have a look at the 1:48 mark of this YouTube video.

Yes, I expected to find obvious orientation marks, but there are none.

Have a look at the 2:14 mark of this YouTube video where he mentions the paint mark from the factory.

It always pays to do a bit of research before deep diving into a DIY project. If there's something I'm not 100% sure about, I research the hell out of it first.

I'm sure you'll get it sorted now.
