2000 Corolla AE112 fuel issue

Hey Guys

as of late, i have been noticing that when refueling my corolla, it pumps then stops and fuel spurts out of the fuel tank. I have read that it may be a canister issue?

i was wondering if it is and easy fix? 

any information would be greatly appreciated

no this isnt me. I purchased this vehicle and the issue was already there. i am trying to see if this can be easily replaced
