Beginner here! Toyota Corolla 2009 head unit wiring handbrake

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just got my hands on a pioneer head unit (AVH-2450BT) and according to the instructions, I need to install the "light green wire" (I ordered the aerpro pioneer to iso cable - to make it a simpler install) to the power supply of the handbrake sensor wiring thing. The problem is, where can I access/find the Corolla's handbrake sensor wiring thats close to the head unit location? I honestly don't think I need to ground the handbrake wire (the wire from pioneer head unit). I also don't want to wire in some bypass or whatever - just to be on the safe side and to aim for the most accurate install. Any info can help, pictures would deffs help 🙂 ...

I am literally using the aerpro range for this install - got the head unit install kit, ordered the pioneer secondary iso cable and pioneer patch cable... Really excited about this haha

Thanks 😄
