Hey all,

Hope you guys can help me.

I purchased some merchantdise on trdsales.com . It has almost been a week and I have yet to see the stuff. Has anyone purcahsed anything from trdsales.com ? If so, how long did it take for it to arrive to your front door.

Currently freakin out. :(

It's cool mate! Placed a couple of orders recently with Bruce. It can take longer than a week. One of my orders has taken a while cause I think Bruce was waiting on stock. Just email him and ask what the status is on your order, thats what i did and he got back to me straight away. :) :)

It's cool mate! Placed a couple of orders recently with Bruce. It can take longer than a week. One of my orders has taken a while cause I think Bruce was waiting on stock. Just email him and ask what the status is on your order, thats what i did and he got back to me straight away. :) :)

The reason I am freakin out is because I saw a package delivered to my nieghbour across the road just as I was leaving for school. It was then that I started to have a weird feeling that the package was probably meant for me. Sort of funny when you think about it.

when did you place your order? the exact date.....

Whats going on? I'm still waiting for gear as well! Bruce said he sent it the 4th of April.

well it takes 3-5 working days for airmail to get to oz.

and in my experience ozmail SUX

there is nothing happening that will affect supply of TRD parts. in fact improvments are being made :P

I swear you guys all crack me up .... To give you some heads up if the stock isnt there it needs to come in from Japan ... So worst case thats Japan -> NZ -> Aus .... Now thats 3 different sets of customs officials it has to pass through before it gets to you ... If you are really concerned just pick up the phone and give bruce a call im sure he would be more than happy to field your query to alleviate any of your concerns .....

sunday..... so provided the oder was actioned on the monday..... its still a day or so before you will have it.

as the earliest it would leave nz is tuesday. and as it states on the order page... its within 2-3 days that orders are actioned...... so i dont think you have anything to worry about

Just so you are aware Bruce is no longer the owner of TRDSales ... see http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...wtopic=6119&hl=

It is now owned by Toyota NZ and to be honest with u it appears that yes u r right their service has gone totally out the window ... bruce was one guy and he managed to service everything above and beyond the required standards .... this is now toyota NZ and they are struggling ....

I guess keep trying and see how it goes

the problem isnt with TNZ.

during the change over there were 2 lots of web ppl playing with the site, bruces guy and TNZs guy.

seems more than a couple of emails went awol.

they were being sent to bruce who then forwarded then on to TNZ who then sent them onto idividual dealers.

plenty of scope there for missed emails...

add to the fact that some times it can take 4-6 weeks for TRD parts to come from japan to NZ.....

TNZ are not struggling at all, in fact you wil lfind the prices etc have improved. taking into account the exchange rate, increased freight and that TRD have increased there prices

I have also not received the goods yet. It's been like 3 months for me and i'm just tired of waiting. The only thing now i'm worried about is the fact he has my credit account details. :(

Can't wait for Toyota Australia to recive some TRD stock to sell so we can all buy all our TRD needs localy straight from Toyota! It should hopfully also not cause any warranty issues (still confirming this but tech's I've spoken to recon there should be no issues if you purchase from Toyota and get it installed by there techs, but we'll wait and see).

Try give Toyota Australia parts department a call, see if they can get you a price... I belive they just got the TRD part numbers in there system now (well at least some of them, not sure if they have them all yet).

They are working to get it all done and running but I'm sure it will not happen over night... Worth a call I recon.. Might beable to get it localy (Toyota Australia! :D)

the holdup at TNZ is the guy who gets the emails spends about 5 mins a day at his pc...... hes quite busy!

having said that all the ppl that have emailed me asking to chase things up places orders well before the change over <_<

All orders received prior to the handover, with the exception of one from Greece, were completed before the handover.

TNZ have my contact details if they are receiving any mail about prior business. I've had nothing passed on.

      Hi My 2021 Rav 4 has that same problem which has never happened with any of my cars over the past 53 years. It’s only done 65,000 km and I’m hoping I can push some acknowledgment while under warranty and hopefully Toyota can get it repaired. Watch this space.

      2013 atara r. low torque on takeoff

      hi ihave same sort of problem but wierd turning left or right under some load speed no go take foot off pedal push down again goes off had fuel filter in tank changed didnt fix it my mechanic disconnected battery for 5 mins conected up again seemed to fix it but 4 weeks on starting to do it again only a bit worse back to mechanics on tues for another go at it. if no joy may have to go to toyota dealer $$$ to get them to check it out interested if you get some rsplies cheers

      I have a bit of a problem with my new to me 2016 diesel rav4

      Hi all, I bought a 2016 diesel rav4 from the damaged car auction, it appears someone went off road and did some damage under the car , the subframe on the passenger side and the 2 brackets that hold it were damaged which was an easy fix but unfortunately they also damaged the oil cooler for the transmission and kept driving it till it stopped , when we took the oil pan off we found metal in the filter so the transmission was toast, we found a replacement trans and fitted it as well as a new oil cooler and after a wheel alignment and a good once over she was registered and good to go. Now the problem i'm having is that I have an information light come up which states " AWD system malfunction ,2WD engaged visit your dealer " and of course it goes into limp mode. We scanned it and it said that the EGR valve was at fault so we checked it out and yes the valve was not great so we replaced it , what the EGR valve has to do with an AWD system malfunction is a bit of a mystery but ok. Then I was driving one evening and braked to do a left hand turn off of the highway , it was moderate braking , not just a touch but not hard either and the same warning came up again, we rescanned it but it was the same fault so was advised to see the dealer. Before I book the car in for any work ( i assume the dealer has better scan tools ) i was wondering if anybody here has any experience with this fault and what it could be ? I was thinking just after i finished writing this , would the transmission need to be programed into the cars computer in the same way as new injectors need to be ? cheers Pete

      Air Conditioner not workimg

      Air Conditioner has stopped cooling the car. Have had it looked at by Air Conditioning Specialists and they indicated it was an electrical issue. Have had an Auto Electrician look at it and he could not find any faults with Relays or fuses but power is not getting to the compressor. He is under the impression it might have something to do with either a Faulty SLIP Sensor or it would be the Air Conditioning ECU. Has anyone had a similar problem and was there a way to fix it. Thanks

      1990 Camry sv21 overheating- Rad fan not starting automatic

      Thank you for help in the past! Now again facing some challenges! When the temperature gauge needle moves beyond the middle point, I noticed that the radiator fans are not running. When stop or Key OFF and then ON after few seconds then the radiator fan start running. I am assuming that radiator fan thermo/ radiator switch or fan radiator relays are not malfunctioning. Firstly, I tried to the relays (4pin,5pin). There are two 4pins relay, 1) the 4 pins relay (90987-02004) tested by supplying 12v power and I hear the click sound and tested the multimeter-continuity of the other two legs, I sound beep on multimeter. while 2) the 4 pins relay (90987-03001) did make the click sound, and when tested with the other two legs shows continuity on multimeter-continuity. Secondly, The 5 Pins relay (90987-04002) (2pins on onside and 3 pins on other side. I am not sure how to test this type of relay. I tried to search on google but help on text or video for specifically this model of relay. I tested randomly and found that in set of 3 pins side between Pin 1 and Pin 2, there is resistance (de-energized) and 2pins set on other side, lets says between pin 4 and pin5, there is no continuity. As I energized (12v at pin 1 and ground at pin 3), I hear click sound, there is continuity between pin4 and pin5. I hope it means its functioning though there is not set standard operational specifications to compare. I tested the similar way to all the relays I pulled out and fuses are good. I put all the relays and fuses back. But the same problem as I mentioned earlier, fan does not start when temperature is increasing beyond limit. however, when I start A/C, both the radiator fans start. Same thing is repeated as I mentioned earlier. I do have oil Leake from sides of distributor, but it was there before for couple of years. This time I going to fix with new distributor because last mechanic said that the inner seal he can't fix so I have to go for new distributor. However, I am not sure is this part of the overheating cause? Also, attach is picture of engine area, if anybody can help me locate radiator fan switch in the picture. thanks Any help! Thanks so much

      Engine bay picture

      Sorry for doing and dump and run I thought I had updated the post. Problem was immobiliser wasn’t talking to the key after all that. I have LPG on the car as well. I was after the picture so I could take that out of the equation initially but honestly wasn’t sure which part was lpg plumbed in. Eventually found fuse box for that to disable. as an aside what OBD2 software people use?
