Apart from Accidently Kelly Street, I can't say I'm familiar with their music. As my first post described, the name is a combination of Marvin the Paranoid Android from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Lee Marvin's classic Western/musical "Paint Your Wagon"
Wanting to alter the genuine Toyota tray so I can bring tool boxes all the way to the edge. However, it’s not possible due to a strip of metal (assuming anchor points) running down both sides. Is there a way around this? Grinding off the lip sticking up? Doesn’t appear ‘structural’ in any way if I grind the top lip off only
pic is one off the Internet. My Ute does not have rear ladder racks etc. it is a bare tray at the moment
I’m looking at putting tool boxes on the Ute tray with the doors coming right up to the edge of the tray. However, there is a lip with holes (assuming it is for straps etc) which is preventing this. Is there a way around this? Ie, grinding the lip off??
Each time I see this thread pop up a thought runs through my head about the naming of your wagon.
I have to ask if you're a Frente fan..
They released the album "Marvin the Album" back in 1992. One of my favourite albums too mind you. They recently re released the 21st Anniversary version of the same Album.

Hi Steve, That's great news knowing the oil lines have been done, I am only guessing but if they did the metal upgrade on one I would be think they did both mate. Next time your getting it serviced just ask the mechanic to check the VVT.
Thanks for the update Steve
i rang toyota and they said it had been done on my car. I had a look for myself and can see the metal upgrade. Load off my mind. I am pretty sure the vvt oil line has been done as well. it looks metal however there is a bend hidden behind a panel you cant see
