Cai or short ram kit for toyota aurion

Hey all,

 

 There was a few talks in old post but since its 2022. Maybe there are new insights about cai or ram for aurions. 
 

I have 2007 aurion zr6 and looking into getting cai or short ram intake for it. Just for that small extra and well basically for the fully sick sound. ive been looking for a kit, and even considering just going custom build one. 

Just recently spoke with my mechanic and asked what his thoughts about it were. And he said if i end up messing with some hose lines that were connected with the air intake box it’ll start messing up the car. 
 

Now im here hoping maybe i could get a few ideas, pointers or if someone has gone through the same and could probably please guide me through doing it especially with those small hoses that are connected to the air box.
