G'day Gents,

It's been a while since purchasing some detailing products, but the latest offerings from Waxit.com.au had me thinking I might need to add a few more bits to my war chest 😄

I was impressed by the new foam cannon, dubbed "Snow Storm" by NV Car Care and thought, what the hell. It looked to be of a  quality product and as a combo deal it made sense not to. I also threw in some extra brushes from my favourite brush maker, Vikan, which are from Denmark and also some different style of wheel brushes by Economax. One is straight and the other is angled for easier reach deeper into the barrels. 

I did end up using the foam cannon over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the robust quality of the plastic body construction and its other componentry. It is much lighter than the traditional brass bodied versions and was a joy to use. The NV snow was used at a dilution ratio of 1:8 into the clear and graduated bottle. It was designed to have a wide base so it won't topple over as easily as the traditional ones tend to do. 

It's on special now if anyone is interested. You also get an optional attachment to suit your pressure cleaner. It comes standard with a 1/4" stainless steel male coupler and this pretty much suited my Kranzle machine set up. I opted to include a fitting for a Karcher machine as I also have of those too, so I took advantage of the free offering.

Oh Tony, Your like detailing porn mate 🤣🤣 love the look of those pressure washer snow cannon looks fantastic, and to come with the extra adapters is excellent as I only have the one Karcher Washer so it would be handy for me so will check it out. Those brushes look very good quality and love the fact they have the anti knuckle skin removers on them is a bonus mate hope they worked out well for the "Detail King" that you are. Thanks for the Pic's my friend appreciate them

      Brake issues

      BTW forgot to mention that there is no shake in the steering wheel. The 'shudder', really hard to describe but almost like brakes on and off. Cannot identify front or rear or both. Got me totally miffed.

      Brake issues

      Hi everyone, new to this forum - refugee from LCOOL. Had a minor shudder when applying the brakes. Also was somewhat intermittent. Having over 100k on the clock a lot which were done towing a big van, I thought I may have warped a disk. Checked them with a dial gauge but no useful info. Bit the bullet and replaced all 4 with new slotted rotors and pads from DBA. Huge difference in braking. However the shudder has return almost with a vengeance. Thought I fixed the problem when I disconnected the ECU for another unrelated issue. ECU is remapped, car went in limp mode and could not clear it with the scangauge. Problem not fixed and I am lost as to why this is happening. Plan on visiting Berima Diesel later on this year to have the injectors checked and I'll get them to look at the brakes if I still haven't figured it out. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thank you

      200 series won’t shift past 4th gear

      Hi everyone, new to this forum - refugee from LCOOL. Having read some of the replies, to the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as a minor remap. Toyota in their wisdom have the software in the ECU such that it cannot be downloaded, modified and reloaded. It has to be a complete reload, either stock or modified. All you fellows disconnecting the battery is a good and simple way to try and reset everything but similar results can be achieved by simply disconnecting the ECU. That's the big plug in the firewall passenger side. Meanwhile I may need to start a new topic for the following issues I am experiencing: Had a minor shudder when applying the brakes.       G’day from NSW

      G’day All just got a 2012 (old shape) Corolla Ascent Hatchback Auto. Needs a few things done, it was my Dads who just passed away. Going to install pioneer head unit (basic one really) as a start, then maybe upgrade speakers but I’ll see how the oem ones go, I’ve read I’ll need at least 50w ones for the pioneer. Front inner plastic guards are a bit trashed along with bumper bar, just need to neaten it up a little. cheers Sparky

      Head Unit Replacement for 2010 Toyota Corolla Hatch

      G’day TGA, hope you got this sorted, just about any 2 din would fit. I’m putting a pioneer one in but I’d like to know how to pull the trims apart to fit it 🤨 Every video shows the sedan with a different gearshift with short trims to remove but those 2 lower side ones are 1 piece on the hatch and I’m struggling. Do I need to remove console box to start removing those side piece. Any help cheers Sparky
