Ln106 no power to injector pump

Hello and welcome to my post.

The problem I face is that my Hilux will not start. Back story- replaced the injector pump with a brand new second hand one, and it started last night, and turned off when I wanted it to (this was my downfalling as I didn't drive it around the block)

Went to start it this morning and no start, turning over all good, injector pump is full of fuel but it was not spitting any out towards the injectors, have tried multiple times to get fuel to come out of any of the 4 pipes. This is not an air lock as nothing comes out of the back of the IP. So I got my multimeter on the wires that go to the pump, that turns the fuel on and off and no volts when the key is on 'on', which it should be a full 12v to get that little bugger to work how it should. So I'm wondering to the Hilux wizards out there, what the heck is going on, where do I even check next?

Is there a fuse, relay or solenoid somewhere else that I'm missing? I can't make much sense of the Hilux diagram I can't see why it wouldn't have power,

Anyway it adds the the fun.

Thanks enjoy your Monday as I'm enjoying mine

Dont quote me but do you have power at the terminals when the engine is cranking , was under the assumption that power ONLY got sent to the pump when the engine was TURNING over, then when the key was turned off it shut power to the rack

Hello hello good day good day this is where I'm at...

So as suspected no power to pump, faulty wire or something somewhere so I literally wired a switch up to the pump "flick" fuel on "flick" fuel off sort of business. Started up right away but sounded abit off I assumed I was a tooth out of the belt, so pull apart again. (Real good at getting to the tbelt now could do it blindfolded) ok so in attempt to line up the timing I got lost in it all and THEN my brand new second hand injector pump started leaking out of the front seal just behind the pulley so now imma wait to get a new seal to put in, thankfully I don't have to take the bloody pump out again but just got to wait till the public holidays are over to proceed, lol long process. AND THEN I will have to get someone more knowledgeable than I to help line the timing up because I'm not 100% and misses is sick of tools and parts and a dirty old hilux sitting at the back door. Thanks for reading
