2016 electric rear sunshade retrofit

Hi all!

I’m new here, thanks for accepting me.

I just purchased a beautiful 2016 ATX. Just wondering if anyone has retrofitted the electric rear sunshade?

Thinking of picking one up from the wreckers.

What would I need just the switch and parcel shelf?

Thanks!

Hi!

Welcome to the community.

To retrofit the electric rear sunshade in your 2016 ATX, you'll need the following components:

-Sunshade motor assembly
-Sunshade cloth
-Wiring harness
-Switch
-Parcel shelf (if not already present)
-Brackets and hardware for installation

It is advisable to get these components from the same vehicle model to ensure compatibility and a successful retrofit. If you are getting the parts from a wrecker, make sure they are in good working condition.

It's recommended to consult a professional installer or mechanic for the retrofit process, as it can be complex and requires electrical wiring knowledge.
