Auxiliary Position To Listen To Radio etc

Hi Guys

Just purchased an 08 Toyota Aurion Presara which has the push button start.

I want to operate radio/cd when engine is turned off

How is auxiliary achieved as obviously no key to put in auxiliary position.

All you do is push the button once. No foot on the brake either.

This will activate accessory. Second push of button with no foot on the brake will activate reds.

That's the old school term for position II. The one just before you start.

In the older cars, you had all the warning lamps come on with position II ignition. They were red lamps.

Nowadays, the dash cluster is more like a Christmas tree. I just call it "reds"

Thanks Tony I understand, I pushed start button once and gained access to auxiliary to listen to radio etc.

The Sat Nav is not the easiest to work out, I have sat nav in my Territory which is easier to work out than the Aurions.

I will play till I get it right.
