Cars are like printers??

Hey pplz,

I'm starting to think that buying cars is like buying printers...

Probably thinkin to yourselves what the heck is he talking bout!? :)

What i mean is, you buy a printer which is like real cheap, say a canon inkjet, then u pay like half the printer price for a replacement catridge!!

Same with cars these days. Pay so and so for the Car...Not bad too bad for its features layout engine etc etc...Then....

Smack em with the serviceing costs, avoid warranty claims by saying its not included or a warranty issue etc etc (Note: I've purposely excluded insurance and petrol costs)

What do yaz think??

man. i can see exactly where your coming from. replacement parts are the biggest downfall here. insurance is second i think.

and petrol prices, well, we have another whole thread for that.. lololol

That's why I'm still seriously considering the AE86 is my next project car lol. At least I can get second hand styling parts and clean them up myself. Only expensive thing style wise would be the front/rear bars, side skirts and flare kits.
