I have owned 2016 ATX model for the past 8 years. Perhaps this was very last vehicle manufactured in Australia. As I have several other vehicles I hardly use this one.  Curtently car has done only 51k.  When I bought this  I opted for Toyota upgrade option which included rear shade, JBL system and GPS.  In addition I got seatsreplaced with leather through Toyota nominated supplier.  Car has had service done  by Toyota based on kilometres done.  There is nothing wrong with the car and I just love the grunt and the fact that it is really good mechanically.  This all sounds like a selling ad but it is not.  I am in two minds whether to sell it before it gets too late or should I just keep the car.  Currently perhaps it sells for $20k or less.  Need sone advice from proud owners as to whether I should keep the vehicle.

You will be lucky to get 15k

If you don't use it or enjoy driving it then sell it? It's just a car

Realistically, play the "What If scenario game". What are you going to do with $15-20k in hand plus any savings for holding onto a surplus vehicle?

I have a 2009 Prodigy sitting in the backyard as my backup vehicle. There is an opportunity cost but also the insurance/convenience factor. If my current 2006 ATX gets written off due to accident damage or a serious mechanical mishap, it will only be a minor inconvenience.

The Wife has been talking about selling her Aurion, and talking about other cars. I am like just get a good around 2016ym Aurion ! because her dad was pushing like hell for her to buy a 4CYL Camry, but she said No ! as they were to gutless she said and not as smooth running engine.

I think that the V6 Aurion is just as good on fuel HWY for sure if not better than a Camry. how i drive anyway. but I am thinking a New Camry 8sp auto may do ? I have to look into the gear ratios, i did a bit on such some years ago and it did not look good for perfomance, same thing with the 8sp Aurion !  as i do not think that they will out perform the 6sp, from what i remember 1st and 2ed are a little higher geared in the 8sp and the real issue that I have with the 6sp is that you could do with another ratio half way between 2ed and 3rd, for over improved taking times ! and that's it.

As if you are doing 80KM/H and over take it goes well but from 95KM/H on it only pickes up 3rd gear that is a bit too high a ratio for great over taking perfomance. I would only add a gear between. and Dawg what a car.
