My 2019 Prado Landcruiser had done approx 46,000 km's when I needed to book it in for
a service at Rosebud Toyota which is where I was living at the time in approx Aug/Sept 2024.
Its now December my car has done 50,000 kms and the weather is hotter and I have noticed
under the hood of my car is hotter and there has been some coolant spraying out all over
engine bay but mostly when I look at the picture on youtube the coolant is darker compared
to the colour of mine, my coolant looks extremely watered down. Then there is a black attachment
on the overflow part of the plastic coolant container where mine has a black stopper not allowing
air to escape which I'm assuming that's probably why I have had a small explosion in the engine
bay. Does anyone know if this very small stopper should be there? Is this why coolant has sprayed
everywhere? Or has someone in my last service not replaced the cap properly?
