In a nut shell, I could hear a slight rattle under normal revs.  Pop the ac compressor on and the rattle is way louder.  My intial thought was a loose pulley or belt but having read some posts here, could be a worn compressor?

You can definitely hear it (albeit) far less without the compressor on.

Any thoughts?

Ive sent the video to my mechanic also.

Joining dots. I had the alternator replaced three weeks ago. I believe they share the same belt (AC and alternator) is it fair to assume it could be loose due to the belt not being tightened correctly?

My guess would be a grumbly bearing somewhere.

Last time that I had that sort of noise it ended up being the water pump bearing. I confirmed it was giving the water pump pulley a bit of a wiggle. Planned road trip was cancelled and a replacement water pump ordered. Also that noise developed within a week on my Aurion.
