I am in the planning phases for the installation of an Autometer® oil pressure guage on my car, which is a 2001 Toyota Runx Z. I plan on mounting the sender that came with the guage somewhere in the engine bay but in close proximity to the OEM oil light unit, as the sender is not as light as I expected.

My question is, what is the thread type and the hole diameter (1/8" BSP, 1/4" NPT et cetera)for the OEM oil light unit as I plan to use a T-fitting so that I can accommodate both the OEM oil light unit and the stainless steel hose that will transfer my engine oil to the guage sender unit.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

This link has three different safe ways to mount the pressure sender. IGNORE method A and B, C is the best one and tells you all the thread pitch and sizes.

If you want to reduce the amount of adapters and fittings from that guide. Go to a diesel fitter and show them the pic and they will make up some parts. Just note that it will cost a bit of coin. If you don't have the gauge yet, I would recommend oil temp.
