Hey everyone. Sometimes when I put the gear stick into reverse, the car shakes for a sec and theres a CRUNCH sound. the car still reverses like normal. Should I be concerned?

Thanks

try putting the car into 1st before u put it into reverse

putting the gear lever in first aligns all the syncros so that reverse can slip straight in.

try searching for it... i'm pretty sure someone else has mentioned this before! ;)

The grind happens because the reverse gear is straight cut, versus normal gears which are angle cut...

When you go to put the car into reverse gear, move the gear stick slower than normal and it should'nt grind at all...
