Don't you just love the internet..........a vast sea of information.....reliable information is another.

I've installed my CAI a few weeks ago. I'm still reading up on other peoples experience etc, but i just need one thing straight.

Does blocking the vacuum hose apply to me?? I have a 1zz not the 2zz. I understand that the 2zz has a butterfly valve in the stock airbox, thus the need to cap the vacuum hose. But i've heard some people mentioning about blocking the hose when they have a 1zz rolla.

HELP!!

Cheers

P.S: Also i looked at the picture that northy posted up in the CES CAI section for the 1zz.....there is definitely a hose going into the air intake.

what year is your corolla? the non-drive by wire 1zz rolla's dont use that extra hose.

So the hose is only for the 05+ corollas. Mine is a 2003 model corolla. So this doesn't apply to me correct??
