Yay for import tax! What if 2 smaller packages are sent, will that negate the tax?

Nothign negates the tax. Its just whne you bring in more then say 4 or 5 of the same thing somtimes customs will have a good look at the invoice and it looks like we could be aVOIDING GST with buying bulk

I dont think Gst has anything to do with it...

i would think you would pay Customs Duty..

but then again i think you pay that anyway when u import something...

when i was going to bring the c-one wings from japan,

i asked the guy if he could de-value the items for customs .

he had no problem in doing this.

Just got email back for him

Not what expected but anyway.

If we order 8 items it will cost us $302 each shipped with EMS and tracking ID 2 - 3 days to get to sydney. He said they are fairly big box's thus the high shipping price and he would send in packages of 4 with import tax paid as part of the shipping.
