For our cars (corolla)/sportivo) the blub size is H7.

I've been doing alot of research lately on HID's, and it has been recommended by alot of ppl NOT to the get ones that are made in china/taiwan. The majority of the ones sold on ebay are from china, and they are the cheapest ones. These are known to break as their quality is very poor.

Obviously Euro or Jap ones are more peferrable, but Korean ones aren't too bad either, I saw a brand called Kaixen on (BOS importing) http://home.exetel.com.au/nismo/bosimporting/

I looked up the Kaixen website http://www.kaixenkits.com/ and they seem like they know what they're doing

If I do happen to get a set for my stivo, it'll most likely be these ones as the price aren't too bad either.

they're ok, i used to have them several years ago.

If you buy any HID Conversion Kit from China, they're all the same thing doesnt matter what brand is it.

they only have one or two factory that produce the ballast,bulbs,etc...then they just label them with different brand/Sticker :)

If you want something really good get the MTEC HID CONVERSION KIT B)

they said its made in taiwan.......

i just searched MTEC HID CONVERSION KIT.......

its like 3x the price...

I know the MTEC HID conversion kits are expensive, but they're superb!

Cheap ones are ok, but mostly they dont come with Relays & no instruction.

My friend got the cheap HID KIT (made in china) and they're fantastic, had them for 2yrs and no problem.

and yes you have to get the H7 Bulbs, unless you want to retrofit your headlights, then get the D2S bulbs (like the one I have now on the Camry)

Xplosion, its REALLY REALLY REALLY easy to install these, don't bother paying anyone to do it, if you need help PM me and i'll give you instructions and you still can't figure it out, i'll call you to talk you through it.

Step 1. unplug old bulb.

Step 2. Plug the new power connectors into the car's power plug ( the one that you just pulled the bulb out of)

Step 3. secure the HID bulb in.

Step 4. Move the ballast to a secure spot.

Step 5. Your're done!

I"m running a set of ebay ones from china, i've run them for almost 1.5 years now. absolutely no problems, and i've transferred them from my corolla to my new car now (both are H7)

If you had to buy either of those 2 kits, get the 2nd one.

They are top quality German made ballast with unlimited warranty

not sure wat u will pay for postage on the two u ahve listed above, but the Aussie distributor for these lives in Sydney and will include the install in the purchase price.

I have a set, KT_haha also does.

I have two friends with R33's who are also using these.

I think the price is about $400 and he can get all colour temperatures. I know the one's on ebay are prob cheaper.. but i think u get what you pay for. He also sells the Techone kits for about $250

PM me if u want a contact.

(I am in no way affiliated with the product, jst a happy customer)

Its individual, 8k is blueish already, if you go that way, just make sure you aim them downwards so avoid blinding people, and then after that its the luck of the draw if you get pulled over.

all HIDs in the rolla will have huge spread due to the design of the stock reflectors, so just go with what you want.

I found this guy on firesport, see if this is the gear you want.

too many to pick from.. mainly... because i dont know which is good...

they all try to persuade u something.... like.. ALL GERMAN TECH and stuff... loads of BS

i'll wait around 1st... and try out the one in MELBOURNE if i can bid it at a good price...

if no luck... i'll just try getting one thru you guys... :)

yep 8k is good, any higer and its not as bright anymore.

I went 6500 for pure white but that's just my perference.

ive heard from many ppl that blue HID will attract police...

will 8000K... attract them?? 10000K is way too much.. :P

I have 10,000k and yes they're blue! (just look at my Display pic <<<---) I'm looking to downgrade in future time after i have come back from my overseas trip.

they wont attract police unless your headlights giving too much glare! I have projectors on my headlights and passed heaps of cops and they looked and nothing happen to me :D

(1st PHOTO:10000k HID with Projector. 2nd PHOTO: Using stock headlights with 10000k HID. 3rd Photo: With 10000k HID with Projector Headlights)

My brother got the 8000K HID on his Supra. If you look at his and mine you can tell mines abit bluer than his.

cant you get projector headlights for the corolla??? If you can they would look so much nicer, especially with the HID.
