Hello,

Basically I'm looking for wreckers around sydney, I live near Liverpool. But willing to travel. Does anyone know any wreckers around sydney, wrecking the current model corolla. Last time I rang around and couldn't find anyone so went to the dealer and they took around $60 for some plastic covers...

HELP!!

Cheers

For the older model cars (1970s- 1990s), go to Pick and Payless at Kings Park/Blacktown.

There are a few in Woodpark (in the back streets off the Cumberland Highway) as well that might be worth checking out.

hi all,

i didnt want to start a new topic, since i thought someone might have asked this question earlier, but when i did a search it brought me back to this thread, so i might as well ask here.

***does anyone know (hypothetically speaking) which engines would be a suitable upgrade from a 1zz?

more specifically, since so many people here say its not worth the time/money upgrading 1zz to the sportivo 2zz - instead just trade up for a sportivo, i was thinking...

what if there was a suitable upgrade that was-

1. N/A - not supercharged/turbo'd

2. considered street legal upgrade

3. more performance than a standard 2zz

4. just as "easy" (for lack of a better word- by no means do i think switching engines is easy!) to install as a 2zz upgrade- (does this one make any sense?)

it is my understanding that youd need not only change the computer, engine, transmission, wiring but also the brakes to suit.

5. if possible, possibly still vvt-i? - (is caldina vvti?)
