Hey guys...

My wifes Sportivo is having some isues with surging. It doesnt happen all the time but it does happen under light throttle. I have changed the air flow metre but it did nothing. Have tried injector clean but that did stuff all also. Any ideas?

Sounds like you could have grabbed tank of grotty fuel.

How long has this been happening for?

If it was really dirty then I doubt injector cleaner would do a great deal. If it doesn't sort itself out, perhaps a service of your injectors might do the trick.

Noob question, what is surging? And what created it? Wonder if my car does that too..

It is like a strong foward movement, you will know it if happens it is very noticable, it is correct about the fuel but, when i have driven older cars that have **** ***** fuel it loves to surge.

Yeh thats the other thing i was thinking. The car has done 80,000 ks. Do u think it could be that with not a heap of ks on it?
