the front strut brace is crap, looks very cheap, as for the c-one rear strut brace it dosent look right...the way it mounts is alot diff to the TRD one...

Posted

the c-one rear strut is very good IMO.

U dont have to cut the plastic bits where its visible and when u remove it for whatever reason u wont even know it was there... unlike the TRD.

From the pictures it looks as if you need to cut the trim. So are you saying this is a direct bolt-on MOD, if so that is awesome.

Posted

Looks like you still have to cut holes in your boot trim to me. Maybe not the plastic but the material needs some sort of hole in it.

The other thing is it is further back from the seat than the TRD one making it harder to put some bigger items in the boot as that may create an issue for some. :D

Posted

yes u still have to cut the plastic bit but do u stick your head in the boot or sleep in there to see if a rear strut was there?

with the trd it CLEARLY leaves 2 holes which are visible by just opening the boot.

Mate cutting a hole is cutting a hole no matter where it is. It will still be noticed by anyone with a keen eye.

What he's saying is the holes left after removing the C-One are less obvious than the ones left by the TRD installation.

Posted

i dont get it....holes are holes....does anyone have pics of an installed one?

i think the holes are less obvious. personally i use c-one parts when possible i think of it as more exclusive. i do like the fact trd is gunmetal which blends into the boot compartment nicely. people going for weight reduction i think should consider c-one parts are lighter because they use aluminium instead of steel. anyhow here is a photo c-one

whos car is that???

which bar is that???

why is there no head rest for the centre seat?

if i was to get this, my custom sub box would need 2 get redesigned coz this bar cuts right into it!
