Damon was the original Stig, but it has changed since.

The white stig changes depending upon the vehicle in use. But I doubt it is Damon Hill since his line is very different between stig laps and Damons Liana lap.

He has to be ex formula one or at the very least formula 3000. Did anyone see the stig drive the formula one car? Unless you have had a lot of experience driving one before, you couldn't drive it the way he did. I thought Damon Hill too, but not sure now as per SuperDaves comment above.

The voice is wrong for Damon as well, and it's certainly not Martain Brundle's voice either.

It's certianly not Nige, the girth is too small :P

not tall enough to be Johnny Herbert.

Possibly Mark Blundell though.

Yeah, they've used a few different drivers, but 'The Stig' that carries out the track tests is a bloke called Guy Harrington, he drive's an Aston Martin DB9 for Barwell Motorsport in the British GT series ....it's been confirmed on a few UK car forums by people that have been in the studio audience.....

'The Stig' that drove on the Isle of Man was Mark Higgin's a former British Rally Champion, there are photo's of him floating around UK car forums of him at the test dressed as 'The Stig'.
