Dunno where you's can get a C.E.S CAI but i picked it up from the Buy And Sell section. Fits good, works good, sounds good, dunno about performance but it may be a placebo cause it sounds faster lol. got it for $300.

CES stands for Custom Exhaust Specialists,

and they are located up here in QLD, just outside of Brisbane.

I beg to differ.

Got 4 shipped down here for between 50 -> 100.

From memory i think its 67 but don't quote me on it. Takes about 3 -> 4 working days to get it.

Thanks for clearing that up Guni,

The TRD cai is actually from USA not Japan. Its a TRD USA listing.

Good thread though. Hopefully it will be pinned so we don't have to keep bumping it up.

some links might help spil,

http://www.chtoyota.com.au/parts.asp

according to doriae's post this fits the rolla,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-MATR...sQ5fAccessories

this is where i got mine a year or so ago...

http://stores.shop.ebay.com/CONICELLI-PART...p;submit=Search

according to the seller this is for the 2zz

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-TRD-COL...sQ5fAccessories

this is for the 1zz

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-TRD-COL...sQ5fAccessories

but im pretty sure all of them are the same? can someone clear this up before posting it up the top?

CES do CAI's as well as Exhaust systems and will freight anywhere in Australia.

Spillage edit the 2ZZ CAI for CES please. It is mild steel HPC coated.

Also the TRD CAI is not made to fit the Aus spec Corolla's in true form. It does fit but some of the mounts will need tweaking to line up and fit right.

Also all facelift Corolla's will need to modify the body where the hole is behind the headlight for the pipe to go through as the facelift headlight has a larger and deeper backing so room is very limited.

Good filter option would be the K&N RX3900-1

You can get this from any autobarn for around $90ish. When I called up the one in Auburn Sydney they didn't have any in stock but can order them in from their supplier

Also this pod filter is good for those buying a TRD CAI for a facelift sportivo and don't want to remove their foglight

Always be on the lookout for sales at autobarn, cause I picked up two K&N xtreme filters for $40 each.

May as well add the filter cleaning products, so that people can clean their filters out?

I have the same K&N also and love it, I could have found it a little cheaper on ebay, but I wanted a valid warranty so I got it at here. K&N 69-8601TP, or you can try one of the vendors on the forum here, you can usually find a good deal that way as well. This was very easy to install and I love it. :D :D

Im looking at getting a CAI for my rolla after I sort out wheels and 4WD height. With my GTI, I just had a pod attached which performed well until it started sucking in hot air. So my next couple of cars I had cold air boxes. These consisted of funnel above radiator directing air into sealed filter box with K&N panel filter equipped. These worked a treat. This is what I would like for my rolla. The only options I am seeing is pod on arm with custom shroud built around.

I guess my question is, Is there a cold air box style set up?

There's Spectre performance from the US

www.spectreperformance.com

They sell at autobarn, not sure if they sell at any other place.

You can buy the parts seperately if you want a cai or sri.

Pretty good and cheap as well, i bought some parts to make a sri and it was pretty good.

cost me all up about $100 using a Drift pod filter
