hi, i drive a 2003 corolla sportivo,
my front left hub holding the wheel is extremely loose,
i was wondering if you could tighten it, is it possible to do it yourself? or do you have to replace the whole hub?
if so how much would this cost?
thanks
tiet.

yeah the only major difference i can tell from the facelift stivo and the prefacelift stivo is the front end and the tail lights, oh as well as the headunit, damn prefacelift cant play MP3 :D
yeah though if you after the new car benefits obviously ZRE would be the better choice, it would be a safer buy, you know how it is when buying a second hand car, you cant be sure if its going to give you headaches, with the ZRE you could just take it back with the warranty

its going to be the old lexcen with a V8 Engine instead lol
-
well i drive a 2003 sportivo, i'm one who likes the look better than the 2005 sportivo but the sportivo is fun to drive, quick and is comfortable i'd prefer a sportivo over a levin but thats my opinion
-
my 2003 sportivo is making a similar noise and im not too sure what it is, when i accelerate it makes a knocking sound, only on straights though when i turn its fine theres no sound im not too sure what it is, going to take the front wheels off tomorrow to see if i can see anything
-
well if your modifying a headrest you could always retrim it to leather or pleather after you cut a hole in it
-
hmm ill try that later, shifting into 3rd before reverse,
through the gears its fine for me, though there are some times when im pushing it into neutral and it feels funny :) could jus be me lol
-
oh damn i guess the previous owner didnt get this fixed >_< i got the reverse crunch
-
lol yeah would be good to be able to use it :) drive from liverpool to campbelltown for tafe aint no fun, though i need to refit it in, the previous owner used a fragile weak bracket so the cable is loose, ill take a picture of it tomorrow to show you all
-
well my mums 2006 ascent sports i made from cotton i think, ill check tomorrow when i have time because its 3:30am and i just got home from work so im a bit tired

Hahaha, took it out this arvo and almost bounced out the drivers window...
Sitting on all four bump stops and the exhaust scraping pretty much the whole way haha...
Bought it not running, silver top 20V in there...
Disconnected the alarm, replaced some split vacuum hoses and she started without a worry in the world...
Drives awesome too... Non stop wheel spinning on the wet roads today...
Dunno what to do with it now haha...
Only about 1.5cm at the most between the road and the exhaust lol...
lol my friend has a 20V in the same model though its got proper suspension and a nice paint job goes nice as well :)
-
don't worry i will, i haven't even got it yet and i love them already :D
-
i presume the non facelift would be pre facelift? did you buy the second one? if so i am willing to buy it off you :)
Correct I bought the second one assuming it would be a 'bolt on'
If I can find the right one I need for my face-lift I will sell it off but a mate has dibs on it first anyhoo.
oh ok, well if you change your mind, and i have not bought mine yet, we can talk
have you tried fitting it on already?
-
well i've purchased mine, now i just have to wait for the money to clear and it t be posted ^_^ can't wait to get high beamed by on coming traffic

C-ONE wingtips part numbers model and year of make`s.
- 1. CA7601-NE12G: ZZE12#G, NZE12#G and CE121G ('00.8 - '06.9) Wagon
- 2. CA7601-NE121: All grade of ZZE123 and NZE12# ('01.1 - '02.9) (NON FACELIFT)
- 3. CA7601-NE122: All grade of ZZE12# and NZE12# ('02.9 - '06.9) (FACELIFT)
I own a face-lift Corolla and the ones I have at home are labelled the second one.
So that means the ones I have are for a non face-lift and the ones I need to get are the third listed ones true?
i presume the non facelift would be pre facelift? did you buy the second one? if so i am willing to buy it off you :)
-
well from what i have been told here, since the pre lifted model has a small wing the wing tips would be smaller than say the lifted wing tip
-
thanks for the help everyone i guess i have to pay $300 for it >_< damn exchange rates
and northy i must say i loved your ride, it inspired me to get a sportivo lol
-
well from my knowledge its easy to install, if you are planning to mount it properly like how kenneth did which i am going to do as well ^_^ thank you again, it will take longer, because of the fact your taking more off, i am looking at HID's on ebay thinking about getting the $80~$100 set

Just A Quick Question (Even Though It Might Sound Dumb) Sorry.....My 2002 Corolla Did Not Come With Any Spoiler/Extension At The Back....Will The C-One Kit Mentioned Above Still Fit? Is It Hard To Fit That Kit?
ummm i don't think so because of the fact the extention tip connects onto the stock spoiler
-
lol hmmm i see what if i am going the other way :) a facelift tip for a pre facelift spoiler, would that work out? because im trying to save $100 here lol
yeah your right i just tried that opening the boot thing and mine doesn't touch the antenna
-
hmmm yeah i did but i want another opinion, incase the seller tries to do a shifty and make me buy the more expensive one even if they are the same :) thanks for the fast reply though
-
sorry quick question some sights i see it says the corolla uses 9006 and on others i see H7 which is it?
-
sorry it was the same link, i fixed the link though
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-COROLLA-02-0...Q2em118Q2el1247
yeah i figure that as well, i thought the pre-facelifted and the facelifted were the same, just different fronts
-
i was looking on ebay as suggested and i was just wondering the difference between the 02-04 C One Wing Tips
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-COROLLA-02-0...Q2em118Q2el1247
and the 04-06 C One Wing Tips
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-COROLLA-04-0...5QQcmdZViewItem
besides the price difference
do you guys think its possible to just buy the 04-06 Wing Tips and fit it onto my 2003 Corolla Sportivo?
