Hey all, I'm new to this forum and I'm starting a project and you guys know how to operate these cars a whole lot better than me so I'm gonna ask for your advice. Im 15 right, and I nagged my dad not to give his 78 Corona to the wreckers so I could salvage [he got a new toyota (were a toyota family)]. I wanna make this the car I drive for the rest of my life cos I love it. Its done about 400,000kms and had a transmission replaced. Everything else is stock. The cars starts after a lot of effort on cold mornings and is not very reliable. I also want to get a 1GGTE in there as well as I think its compatible. What else would greatly improve the performance as well as handling. What systems will I need to replace because everything in their is pretty run down. I would be thankful if you could reply with general info, advice, which systems I should look to replace, the prices, where to get them et cetera. Cheers.
