    HSC

I did my HSC 2 years ago. I walked out of my engineering exam thinking that i failed...... i ended up getting 94. shock to the system it was! haha seriously, everyone tries to rev you up, saying that its all hard... it really isnt. Go in there, write what you know and you will be fine Unfortunately i didnt get my UAI, thanks to my whore of a careers teacher stuffing up my subjects choice, i was given subjects that didnt didnt let you get a UAI (engineering, aviation, maths, english, hospo& modern history) i wish i did now, because it would of been around 80.....not that it worries me now though.... you can become a mature age student anyways! good luck with it all hey! the relief is fantastic once you finish your final exam!!
  2. I really want to get a butterfly on my foot, nothing to bit, just nice and simple. It would be to represent my nona and my good friend that passed away, it would be just something that i could have forever:) BUT i am a tad bit of a chicken haha, so who has got their foot done, and is it really as bad as they make it out to be??
  3. QUOTE (Tats @ Oct 1 2008, 11:33 AM) I've read these threads on a few forums and there seems to be a real bandwagon of "oMg i'M nEvEr WaTcHiNg ThIs AgAiN iT's So ***** lolololol" Guess what..... it's not the same as Top Gear UK. Shock horror. The presenters aren't as experienced and the track is different. And, if you compared budgets the same way you compared penises, SBS is hung like an acorn where as the BBC is packing a Collins Class Submarine down the front of it's dacks. It's not just feasible to compare every facet of the infant Aussie version to the UK/worldwide steamroller. I'm as big a fan as they come of the UK version too but I'll happily watch the boys broadcasting from Bankstown Airport in the knowledge that it's the best thing we've ever had locally. My only concern is that they'll hold back on the criticism of the cars in order to keep the manufacturers pleased. In my opinion this is what has plagued the Aussie motoring shows of the past. That maybe so, but SBS surely must have known that there was no way Top Gear Australia could compete with Top Gear UK. Top Gear UK is in another league (or planet for that matter!) and inarguably one of the best TV series to hit the TV. So DON'T go chasing and paying for the rights to affiliate it with TOP GEAR UK!!!! Give THE SERIES ANOTHER NAME for crying out loud!! But it's too late now. Personally, I think its aweful, its embarrassing and it's an injustice for the program to share the same name. I hope it doesn't reach the shores of other countries or star on Top Gear Uk. PUT >LATEST< TOP GEAR UK ON. It's like saying "We've tried our best to make a performance car, but we know it's not that good and inferior . .. but we'll paint it red and sell it as a Ferrari." hahaha well i kind of agree with that, maybe a bit harsh, but i can see where you are coming from. What they really need to do, is read reviews like this to show the produces what the audience really thinks, instead of them sitting in their own little bubble, thinking that its going to be okay. It seems to be okay on here to voice your opinion about the topic, but on another site that i went onto, if you disagreed with someone you git shot down.... i just want to see more things get blown up and more distruction! hahaha
  4. My dads name is Mikel used to work at pro tint that was at Auburn then they moved to Blacktown. He doesnt work there anymore, Just got over working in the heat and stuff. Its great to have him have the skill, can get any windows tinted for free now!hahaha, i sometimes try to do some tinting with him, but its soo tricky! take my hat off to anyone that has mastered it without getting tiny particles of dirt on the film!
  5. This isnt in Sydney, its at the Central Coast Long Jetty Mufflers:) Its my partners dad's buisness. Had it for years and years He will look after you up there:)
  6. My dad is a window tinter he doesnt recomend that people that have never tinted windows before, do it themselves. you will just have to get it redone again. Its so tricky to do. He tought me how to do it, and it took me soooo many goes to get it perfect, once the glue sets, there is no moving in that film! you have to rip it off and start all over again. if you are getting your car done, i suggest that you get it all done, looks so much better!:)
  7. Are you anle to do them yourself? I did it that way and it worked out much much cheaper than that. Just shop around so that you get a good deal:)Gives you more money to spend on other parts for your car!:)
  8. Thanks so much for that guys:) I have been to that page that "Bill Sherwood" did. its amazing at how much he knows about these cars! Its a massive help as i am currently learning all about the engines and stuff:) i am lucky that i have my partner to rebuild it for me, or my little rolla would be sitting to the side:( Thanks again!
  9. Hey Guys and Girls, I am just only new to this site:) I have myself a neet little SX Seca that i picked up pretty cheap after a smash. little 4AGE's are a rocket After a full $$ spent she looks better than new. This is my first "jap" car and iam totally in love! However, after a few weeks of driving her i began to notice the smoke out the back. I decided to wait a while as i knew i would have to a rebuild on it anyways. and maybe pop a 20 valve in it She finally gave up the ghost and we pulled her apart on the weekend. Needs new valve seals, two new valves, new rings, and possibly new pistons (might just chuck some new ones in anyway) The real reason to this novel of a post was, that my partner and i came across oil squirters, as far as we knew they only came in the 4AGZE? can anyone tell me if this is true or not? WE are used to working with 8's, straight 6's, v6's and red motors and this is a learning cerve for us ! lol any help would be greatly appreciated:) Thanks! MissSX
