  2. I'd be up for a meet somewhere. theres a cruise on the saturday for jap cars, with chrome bumpers, but i dont think i'd have the pano ready for that, so this would suffice :D
  3. Awesome pics guys, keep them coming. I can't wait for Ben's photos, and the chaser's passenger (sorry, I've forgotten your name) photos when they come either...
  4. Yeh, I think i'll be a spectator for this. Van might not be ready, and Nova might still need some tlc, haha Yeh, although I think for cruises, a stricter rule structure needs to be in place. Just something I learnt from my cruises and the weekend, it seems that although it is fun to drive hard with people, we were too close. But hey, we do, we learn, we try again. Still a great cruise, so cheers Andy for the efforts
  5. Yeh, I'm up for these. I always wondered what ever happened to them after they kind of dissolved last year...
  6. ah, all good. Still a bit rusty with the identification of the early Celica's. Nice looking ride all the same.
  7. No objection...c'mon...more piccies for the post below, thanks matt...that ta22 looks mean - is that silverra23's? or another one
  8. Road Conditions weren't too bad, but a little slippery. Would have been more interesting to see how many cars made it back, if we went on the originally proposed route through Kinglake and beyond :P
  9. Yeh, Cheers Andy for organising a great day. Company is always a pleasure, as it is to see, and appreciate the cars. Was great to meet people, and I can't wait till the next one, or even next year. Might have to take the Pano up, to make sure it really is the Grandpa of the crew, heh
  10. Unfortunately, I am the same - road trip to the border to pick up an engine has taken priority...Dang...
  11. I Can't do Saturday arvo due to work commitments, however, if its more popular, then all good with me - just have to catch up another time...
  12. Yeh, sorry about that mate...hehe maybe should have left myself a little more space...oh, and tried it on a flatter corner. All fixed now though
  13. Tyres and suspension take care of sliding and handling...but you have to compromise (especially if its a daily) between comfort and outright handling. Although having a look at OSO DVS' setup...and how he was coping with wet and bumps - going too firm is never a sure thing either...
  14. hahaha.....makes for entertaining viewing - Clear lens then *BOOM* - car driving erratically... Septembersquall from RollaClub set up an afternoon at Le Mans in Dandenong, where for $120, there were 3 races (or if you're pushed for time, 2) with a practice - total laps 60, and included a bbq dinner and trophy presentation after the final race...
  15. yeh, i remember - hows the rep job (u still with tridon?) i think i accidentally sent u a msg a week or so ago, hehe... cruise was good untill that corner opened out on me and i was left staring at an embankment - all fixed now tho, hehe
  16. --->Go-karting is always a favourite...and its relatively cheap. Can include a bbq too depending where you hold it.<----MY PICK Paintballing...fun, but the local ones are pretty average - need to head to Moama... BBQ at albert park? good for a show and shine...jus dependent on good weather... Cruises are always great fun too, but the route options can get exhausted after a little time... Track day? errr...with my galloping stallions under the bonnet all bar extermnated with Equine Influenze, i'd have to pass - would be great fun though...
  17. HA...HA...HAAAA....hehe good call, i'll pay that...funnily enuf, that corner where you have shell in front of you, was the site of my first accident - completely missed the corner on a greasy night, and got bogged on the embankment, in the cyclone fence, beween the 2 power poles...hehe oh well, some people never learn...hehe
  18. yeh, thats the way home i take when i can't be bothered with traffic...hardly any cops too...but some nice corners albeit the surface a bit broken in places...hehe
  19. Cheersw Guni, Great day, great weather, great route. Very much enjoyed the day, and so did the car (minus the bruise :P)
  20. OK, I'm in. i'll meet you guys in geelong though - Waurn ponds, so if one of you could give me a bell when you cross the james harrison bridge (the big one at the end of la trobe tce that goes over the river), that'll give me about 5-10min warning...i figure you'll be going through around 9.05-9.25 depending on what speed you cruise at and how good your run through geelong is (with our wonderful city planners, that know all about light sequencing). cheers folks, see you sunday
  21. 2 small points with respect to cruise route. 1) why are we stopping at the corner of mercer and moorabool street when we go into geelong - theres absolutely sweet fa there - much better photo op opting for richie blvd, or eastern gardens. err...disregard...map program could've loaded wrong...or i could've accidently clicked wrong...meh...hehe 2) the Great ocean road starts in Touquay... ..but as i said only minor Hehe, good cruise route - been years since i've been beyond lorne. looking forward if im able to
