  1. I saw this car turning onto King Georges Rd in Wiley Park the other day. Looking great, goodluck with the sale mate
  2. Harro, I m currently in the market for a AE111 (and hopefully can say goodbye to my old but reliable gen 3 camry). Just want to know what are the general things to look for on these cars. I understand they are imports so would sourcing parts be difficult, in terms of performance is it possible to use parts from other toyotas on it?
  3. It's a whitish (might have a slight tinge of blue) exhaust smoke that appears after a "longish" trip. If I restart straight away it doesn't appear but leave it an hour or 2 or overnight and it appears. It's definitely not a dark smoke. Amount well I'm not sure how define it but way way more than the steam on a cold morning. I wouldn't have guessed that it's engine oil apart from that's the only thing that's being used. I put the oil flush in after toyota told me to. Go figure. Eviltwins comment sounds good apart from it's coming out of the exhaust. White smoke with blueish tinge.... Correct me if I m wrong, but it seems you have a leaking head gasket. When coolant mix with engine oil it tends to give off a blue smoke.
  4. Hi all! I m quite new to this forum so firstly greetings to everyone here. My ride currently is an old beater, a 94 Camry Vienta CSX....it was given to me from my parents as a mode of transport between uni, work and general getting around the place. Anyways, hope to get to know all you other Toyo owners. Regards!
  5. So this is the plan, I m thinking of getting one of those aftermarket shift knob and boot for my 94 Vienta. Main reason is all my mates own either Honda EK/EG or DC's and have dumped a whole load of useless stuff onto me. Anyways, I m pretty familiar with changing the knob but I want to know if I can just connect the wire on the O/D together otherwise shorting it without a button. I drive with O/D on all the time so I really cbb making room for another button. *PROBLEM SOLVED* Shift knob + type-r shift boot installed and O/D button rewired next to ECT button =D
