i love my 1998 prado but... the wheel fell off yesterday - luckily i was reversing out of the driveway. a recall for what seems to be the same problem exists for 2001-2002 models. if you drive a 1998 prado and the steering feels different DO NOT DRIVE IT. i am now going to contact toyota and will post my progress with the repair of my beloved prado.
